Missouri Tax Credit News
Kansas cuts tax rates - May 30, 2012
The state of Kansas recently passed a bill that will decrease the income tax rate to 4.9% from 6.45% in 2013. The legislation was hotly contested. Nebraska had already passed tax reduction legislation, and now Oklahoma is strongly considering taking its rate to 4.5% from 5.25% in order to remain competitive.
It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, the tax rate reductions will have on the availability and demand for tax credits in these states.
