It's official. The Missouri legislative session came to end without passing any legislation adversely impacting Missouri tax credits. Those of us active in the Missouri tax credit business have lived the last 6 months in fear that we would have the Missouri tax credit programs capped, appropriated, phased out, etc.

The battle is far from over. Many Missouri legislators vowed to renew the fight next year. They feel that Missouri tax credit programs need to be reined in. Supporters of the Missouri historic tax credit and the Missouri Low Income tax credit will be busy during the summer recess.
