A new bill impacting Missouri Historic tax credits and Missouri low income housing tax credits was to be heard in the House Job Creation and Economic Development committee meeting last evening. Key parts of the proposed legislation that we disagree with are as follows:

- Cap low income tax credits at $50 million per year
- Cap historic tax credits at $100 million per year and change them to 20% instead of the current 25% tax credit
- Prohibit the use of historic and low income tax credits together on the same project
